Bring Hope with Change

UNITE! Woman in Need is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Sacramento that collects essential item kits for unhoused women, with an emphasis on feminine hygiene products. By running donation drives through our chapters and partnering with businesses, we have collected 16,000+ donations. We are a youth-led movement inspiring change in our communities, every woman at a time.

Our Process

Acquiring Donations

We get financial donations through fundraising events and book sales. We also run donation drives and work with partner businesses to get donated toiletries directly.

Creating Kits

Then, we run events to organize donations into individual kits of toiletries, especially feminine hygenie products, for unhoused women.

Distributing Donations

Our partner shelters and food banks, such as Loaves and Fishes, help us distribute kits to those in need.
